Jeff O’Brien

Jeff O’Brien is the Executive Director of the Economic Development Cabinet for the Louisville Metro Government. Jeff has over 20 years of experience with local community and economic development in Kentucky and Illinois. Jeff has been with Louisville Metro since 2013 and has led several major strategic and long-range initiatives for Louisville. His work focuses on infrastructure, real estate, economic and community development.

Mr. O’Brien holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the American Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Urban Land Institute.
