Apply for Funding from The West End Opportunity Partnership

The West End Opportunity Partnership (The Partnership) invites organizations to apply for funding to advance growth and sustainable development across the nine neighborhoods of West Louisville: Algonquin, California, Chickasaw, Park Duvalle, Park Hill, Parkland, Portland, Russell, and Shawnee.

The Partnership Funding Cycle Framework and Application Schedule

The Partnership remains committed to investing in the people, organizations, and projects that strengthen West Louisville’s nine historic neighborhoods.

As interest in The Partnership’s funding opportunities continues to grow, we are enhancing our funding administration processes to ensure investments remain aligned with community priorities, available resources, and the long-term impact they are intended to create.

On June 1, 2026, The Partnership’s Board of Directors approved a formal funding cycle framework establishing two annual funding cycles that consist of dedicated periods for application review, Board consideration, and contracting.

The Partnership anticipates opening its first application window under this framework on September 1, 2026. The Fall Funding Cycle will accept applications through October 3, 2026, with review occurring in November, Board consideration in December, and contracting in January.

Over the coming months, our team will work closely with current applicants to review requests, assess project readiness, and ensure investments benefit communities throughout West Louisville. As part of this transition, the current application cycle will conclude on June 30, 2026.

The Spring Funding Cycle will open January 1, 2027, and close March 31, 2027, with review occurring in April and Board consideration taking place during the June Board meeting. This process will continue annually, providing clearly defined opportunities for applicants to seek funding while allowing The Partnership to continue the thoughtful evaluation of requests and steward resources across West Louisville’s nine historic neighborhoods

Thank you for your continued engagement and commitment to strengthening West Louisville.
