Reverend David L. Snardon, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, is the Senior Pastor of Joshua Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, where he has faithfully served for the past nine years. Reverend Snardon is widely recognized for his steadfast commitment to social justice, economic empowerment, and community development. He formerly served as Co-President of Citizens of Louisville Organized and United Together (CLOUT)—an ecumenical organization dedicated to addressing community challenges through public policy and collective action.

Currently, he serves as Co-Founder and President of Concerned Pastors of Russell (CPR), a coalition of local pastors and churches working to ensure that economic revitalization in the Russell neighborhood benefits its residents. Additionally, he is the President of the Interdenominational Ministerial Coalition (IMC), an organization focused on economic development, educational advancement, and social justice throughout the city of Louisville.

Beyond his pastoral and community leadership, Reverend Snardon plays an active role in civic and organizational governance. He serves as Vice Chair of the OneWest Board of Directors, helping guide strategic efforts to spur commercial development along Louisville’s 18th Street corridor and across West Louisville. He is also a member of Empower West, a coalition of pastors and churches dedicated to unlocking the educational, economic, and spiritual potential of West Louisville residents. His previous leadership includes serving on the boards of the Louisville Central Community Center (LCCC) and the Louisville Police Merit Board.

In recognition of his leadership, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Reverend Snardon to the Kentucky State Police Personnel Board, where he contributes his insight and community perspective to matters of state personnel policy. His community advocacy has been highlighted in numerous public forums, including the LCCC Pastor’s Appreciation Luncheon, where he addressed faith leaders on the vital role of economic empowerment in strengthening communities.

Reverend Snardon’s dedication to justice and equality has also been honored by the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, which recognized him as an honoree during its annual Unity Movement Celebration in 2017. In 2020, he extended his commitment to public service by running as a candidate for State Representative of Kentucky’s 43rd District.

A proud graduate of Louisville Male High School, Reverend Snardon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, where he was also a member of the football team. He later received a Master of Divinity degree from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his MBA at Louisiana State University Shreveport.

Reverend Snardon has been married to Alicia G. Snardon for twenty-two years, and together they have one son, Zion David Snardon. Deeply rooted in faith, family, and community, Reverend Snardon continues to inspire hope and progress across Louisville through his unwavering commitment to service, empowerment, and transformation.
